Throughout His mortal ministry, Jesus was known for his kind and tender approach toward those in need. While others rejected sinners and ignored the poor, Jesus served and taught them. Jesus condemned the hypocrisy of those who believed themselves above or better than others, explaining that putting down others is a sin in and of itself. Followers of Jesus Christ speak and act kindly around others as much as possible.

One way we can show kindness is by speaking to and treating others respectfully. Disciples of Christ understand that everyone is a child of God, regardless of their economic status, upbringing, or cultural background. True Christians follow Jesus's example in extending kindness and friendship to any and all people who are willing to receive it.
